DEICIDES LAST GREAT ALBUM before SCARS OF THE CRUCIFIX which in my mind was the last album they ever made. PEROIOD. after that the Hoffman brothers (who actually created the band under the name AMON) where kicked out of their own band. Man that had to of sucked. deicide or shall i say Vital-Cide carried on with members of VITAL REMAINS , which I found amusing because Glen Benton (VITALCIDE FRONTMAN) had just help produce Vital Remains Dechristianize (as the lead singer) I saw them play LIVE and i have to admitt..they sucked a big one...Benton didnt even know the lyrics , trying to read them from papers he held in his hand from behind a leather mask which he had to remove because he kept missing , and the SUPER BLAST drumming that made the album so popular just wasnt there...electronic triggers made to speed it up just kept missing and firing at the wrong time. He (Benton) at one point even admitted on stage that it was probablly only the fourth time they had actually played together as a band..PATHETIC. Though DECHRISTIANIZE (over produced as it is) IS STILL A GREAT ALBUM. GET EDUCATED!!!!!!! https://youtube/watch?v=9_SQ430-g7Q
