DEJI YESUF....A paid clergy who is asking Christians to vote Buhari and reject Jonathan wrote about Jonathan thus: Goodluck Jonathan A friend, Bayo Adeyinka, has enumerated ten reasons why President Goodluck Jonathan should be re-elected into office (bayoadeyinka/bayoadeyinka/index.php/entry/goodluck-jonathan-a-balanced-scorecard-by-bayo-adeyinka). These points cannot be disputed and they are commendable indeed. The only trouble with these points is that Nigerians must come to learn that there is a difference between a government’s responsibility and its achievements. If government build roads, pay salaries, refurbish the railway, build schools, and permit some stability for the economy, that government has carried out its duties or its responsibilities. It is when that government has done high and above these things enumerated that we can say that government has achieved something upon which it could be considered for re-election. When we consider two things: the speed with which nations are advancing and the amount of resources this country gathers as revenue year in year out, we must of a necessity hold any government in power responsible for not achieving anything. We should not be found praising them for carrying out their responsibilities He said it is the responsibility of President Goodluck to do these things and it is therefore wrong to praise him or vote for him on that basis. But this paid agent is asking us to vote for a man who did not even try to perform his responsibilities. The man who promulgated retroactive decrees to suppress the press,killed many innocent Nigerians,stole state funds via currency change,jailed journalists,tinker with judiciary by imprisoning Fela etc. a man who overthrown democracy. A man who made his cabinent 90% his kinsmen. A man who prefer to deal with Nigerians by indignifying them with koboko instead of subjecting them to the scrutiny of laws. A man who was cowardly enough to be overthrown by his subordinates with a mere microphone. A man who has instigated political riots several times in this country. A man who just borrowed N27m in clear breach of Anti corruption laws. If Pastor Deji is a real Christian,then I better think of another religion to join. He is a religious dupe.
