As a result of the recent revelation by the leading governorship aspirant that he took a loan from the bank to purchase his governorship nomination form , there have been a public outcry from some notable Deltans are against such a practice. some political observers who has criticised Sir Tony Obuh governorship bid for taking loan. They noted that the action of Tony was indefensible, stressing that it amounted to monetisation of politics.They said, “It is indefensible for Tony to have obtained a loan facility just to obtain a form of intent to contest the governorship election in 2015 under the PDP “Is he going to obtain another loan during his campaign, because in Nigeria, it costs Millions if not billion of naira to run a governorship campaign?” We are therefore bringing this topic home for us to look into it.
