DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY SAFETY, SECURITY AND LIAISON LEARNERSHIP PROGRAMME 2014/15: BASIC TRAFFIC OFFICERS DIPLOMA (REF. No:DCSSL/TM/LP2014) Department of Community Safety, Security and Liaison invites applications for a Traffic Officers Diploma Learnership which seeks to capacitate 50 unemployed youth with knowledge and skills in Traffic Law enforcement. Preference will be given to people from previously disadvantaged communities and unemployed youth in the Mpumalanga Province who meet the following requirements: Minimum education qualification Grade 12 At least a Code B driving License Applicants may not be older than 35 year of age Medical certificate as proof that a person may do strenuous exercise Name clearance certificate from South African Police Service indicating that the applicant does not have a criminal record. NB: People with disabilities are encouraged to apply Successful candidates will be expected to enter into a 12 month contract with Department and on completion learners will receive a Diploma in Basic Traffic Officers: NQF 4.
