DETROIT (WXYZ) - The search for a missing Wayne State University law school student and mother of three ended as nobody hoped it would. Tiane Brown’s body was found in a field in Detroit near the old Packard Plant, east of East Grand Blvd and Frontenac. An SUV with the personalized license Michigan plate TIANE was also found at the scene. There are still a lot of questions in this investigation, said Detroit Police Chief James Craig. This is a very active investigation. Brown was last seen at the WSU campus Monday night. Her family reported her missing early Tuesday morning after she didnt come pick up her children from a relatives home. Wayne State University and Detroit Police are both investigating. They say two people are being detained in connection to the case. Sources tell 7 Action News the two were found with Tianes phone. They say they have found no motive for the murder. Students held a vigil behind the law school where she went to school Wednesday evening. Brown had a masters in bio-medical engineering, an MBA, and was working on a law degree. Tiane Brown’s mom says her daughter was a mother of three with big dreams of bringing others justice as a lawyer. Her children are ages 14, 8, and one and a half.
