DETTECTIVE GORDON MARTINES RESPONSE TO MORE COPS TAX!!!! We do not need more tax money to be wasted and diverted by the current fox in the hen house. Reserve monies need to be used first, an accounting needs to be made of the 42 million dollars for the known adopted flawed radio system, and the additional 26 million dollars repair monies to hopefully fix the known adopted flawed radio system, before more people are injured or killed. Lets also see the bank accounts for confiscated monies from drug seizures and contraband, and account for that money and property, and account for the phony drug dog complaint and payoff, to see into whose pocket it really landed. Lets also examine the exorbitant salaries of 13 civilian Directors with salaries 160k and above with added benefits. Lets put the real cops that staff the PIO, Gun Registration, Public Relations, and Police Union back to work pushing a Patrol Car and patrolling our community streets. Lets not forget about the 33 detectives in the Internal Affairs Bureau that do not work criminal cases. Lets also examine mid level police supervisors, making Lts pay, whose only job is to make sure that the cooler chests are filled with Gatorade and cold drinks for special events and special incidents. There is plenty of pork to cut and no need to raise taxes! The additional cops needed are hidden within special quiet and obscured sections of the police department, as payback favors, for their support and cover up of the present administration and leadership. The pending 2011 Federal Lawsuit against the current administration and leadership should pretty much expose the malfeasance, theft, extortion and murders that have occurred for years, and is still occurring with this administration. Let there be no doubt that the police union is merely an extended arm and puppet of the police administration and leadership. An examination of police employees private businesses that benefit from favored contracts, especially vehicle acquisition and repair, is staggering by thus bypassing the normal standard bidding process. A complete overhaul of the bidding process for contracted work needs to be implemented with a transparent oversight committee present.
