DEVOTIONAL - Who Has Good Memory Has Faith David said moreover, The LORD that delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine . And Saul said unto David, Go , and the LORD be with thee . I Samuel 17:37 . I have heard many people complaining about their spiritual condition . They say they are with weakened faith , which trusted in God before , but are now in a state of spiritual coldness . How do we increase our faith ? Firstly we have to remember that faith is a gift of God , but that does not mean that humans can not and should not do anything . Health , love and other gifts also come from God and may well be exercised and developed by humans. The verse today gives us an idea of what can be done to increase our faith . David, to witness the challenge by Goliath, recalled the victories that the Lord had given him in the past. He remembered and testified to Saul as God had aided and reinforced front of a lion and a bear . The victories of the past make us stronger for the struggles of the present and fill us with hope and faith for the future . The title of the devotional today says that those who have good memories also have faith. As we look to the past and contemplate how the Lord delivered us just filling the heart of faith and trust .
