DEVOTIONAL “After these things Jesus went over the sea of Galilee, which is the sea of Tiberias. And a great multitude followed him...” (John 6: 1-2). That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today. When Jesus went over the Sea of Galilee, a great multitude followed him and moved over. Jesus did something, and a multitude did the same thing. He did it and they did it; He took a step and they took the same step; He accomplished something and the multitude accomplished same thing. Beloved, if Jesus did it, you can do it. If Jesus healed the sick and raised the dead, you can do it; if He could pray all night, you can pray all night; if He lived above the flesh, you can live above the power of the flesh; if He lived righteously, you too can live righteously; if He could intercede and speak God’s word, you too can do it; if Jesus was a success, you can be a success too. Everything that Jesus did while on earth is an example of what you can do; in fact, Jesus said, “greater works than these shall he do…”. So, if Jesus did it, you can do even more; if He had early success, then your own success can come earlier; if He made impact, you should make more impact; if He excelled, then you should excel even more. The records that Jesus set can be broken by you, if you dare to try. The multitudes followed Jesus, and they did what He did. If you remain steadfast in your walk with God, there is no end to your achievements and exploits here on earth. Your connection to Jesus will connect you to unimaginable exploits. Don’t let the enemy steal your confidence. Don’t ever seek Permission from DOUBT on what FAITH said you should accomplish. If Jesus did it, you too can do it. John 14 vs. 12 says: “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” Pray With Me: Lord, If You did it, then I can do it!
