DID ANYONE REALLY THINK THAT THE DOG DAYCARE BUSINESS COULDNT - TopicsExpress

DID ANYONE REALLY THINK THAT THE DOG DAYCARE BUSINESS COULDNT CORRUPT LIKE ANY OTHER BUSINESS? It could be more prone to dishonesty than most businesses because the clients cant speak. After I experienced a popular dog daycare centre, long ago, just once, I determined to never use one again. What I saw were old dogs huddled on couches trying to escape the hysteria of young dogs. At the end of the day, I saw the same old dogs huddled on the same couches. I saw too many dominant dogs making submissive dogs unhappy because there was nowhere to escape to. And I saw my dog (being an AAS dog she still had a behaviour problem; hers was unrestrained joy expressed in jumping), want to greet me with her normal elation, being sharply corrected and cringing. Clearly, she knew what was coming if she jumped. I dont use correction; I use praise and reward. She was bewildered and unhappy. That was the last time that I took a dog to a daycare. I wont argue that there arent many dog who love going to daycare and come home happy and exercised, but there were too many in my personal experience who were not happy; and in my dogs unhappiness, there was proof that not all dog daycare workers understand or even like dogs.
