DID YOU KNOW? Soldiers do not march in step when going across a bridge because they could set up a vibration which could be sufficient to knock the bridge down? God never ceases to amaze me. In the famous battle of Jericho, God instructed Joshua and his army of approx. 40,000 , to march 7 times around Jericho. This marching along with the shouts and blasting of mighty trumpets, would have set off a tremendous vibration! big enough to knock down the enormous walls of Jericho... These walls were structured on a three tiered plan. The walls started with an embankment, which ran from ground level, upwards on an incline to a stone retaining wall. The stone retaining wall stood 12 to 15 feet in height. On top of the stone wall, stood another wall made of mud-bricks, 6 feet (2m) thick, and 20 to 26 feet (6-8m) high. Together, these two walls combined to form a fortification 32 to 41 feet high Never question the infinite power of the creator of all things, they built it, He can tear it down. Just as the walls of Jericho came tumbling down, sadly America will also find her demise. As long as we were Isreal’s strongest ally we had the blessing of the Lord God almighty, we prospered and it was good. We have chosen a King (president) who has blasphemed Israel and is not her Ally. Just as Joshua cursed Jericho: "Cursed before the Lord is the man who rises up and builds this city Jericho; with the loss of his first-born he shall lay its foundation, and with the loss of his youngest son he shall set up its gates." What will be the cost to rebuild America or is it even possible? America is being destroyed from within and we are like lambs being lead to the slaughter without awareness of the significance of what is happening around us. I mourn for what was and will never be again! I mourn for this once great country who has turned her back on God, the very foundation of which it thrived. Shirlyn
