DID YOU KNOW THAT THERE HAVE BEEN 40 + ROCKET ATTACKS ON ISRAEL IN PAST 2 WEEKS? More than 40 rockets were fired by Hamas from the Gaza Strip at Israel since the abduction of three Israeli teenagers two weeks ago. The Iron Dome missile defense system intercepted seven of the rockets. The Israel Defense Force believes the Hamas terror cell in Hebron have also been encouraging rogue terror groups to open a second front against Israel. Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said Sunday Israel was “prepared to expand” the IDF’s operations in Gaza if need be. So, the IDF is preparing for a possible significant offensive in Gaza. Armored Corps brigades have been instructed to prepare for the possibility of being transferred to the Gaza Division, while the Air Force has deployed additional Iron Dome batteries. Because these 40 plus rocket attacks on Israel have not been reported by the western media, and certainly not by the CBC, if the IDF do move in to try to shut down the launch sites, there will be a chorus of wailing about Israels aggression and whining about violation of human rights. No account will be taken of the unprovoked firing of 40+ missiles into Israel which will have caused the action. And none of those who will be moaning the loudest would sit idly by if their own neighbours were lobbing explosives into their front or back yards. [Only ONE, SHORT kick at the can per contributor.
