K-48: Ju Ju is a 2-3 y.o., 65 lb. female. Heartworm negative. NO CATS! Has until 3/31 to find rescue/adopter. Ju Ju is full of love and happy play. Smiling and tail wagging, this girl soared through the SAFER. She bonds easily with people, and whines when someone leaves the room. Ju Ju loves to snuggle. She has some anxious energy, but is otherwise a pretty easy going dog. She licks and gives a little nibble sometimes when she kisses. Takes treats gently. SAFER Assessment Look: #1 jumped in assessors lap Sensitivity: #1 leaned in Tag: #1 engaged in play, a bit mouthy Squeeze: #1 no response Food #2 followed the dish with tail down, body loose, lifted head after a bit of pressure from hand to cheek Toy: #1 allowed assessor to take Rawhide: #1 dropped for assessor Dog to dog: #2 approached male dog with ears forward, tail at mid-level, body soft, sniffed and very interested although he avoided; approached a female dog in the same way, sniffed and wagged tail, very calm.
