DIETITIAN / EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGIST - CAMPBELLTOWN swsml.au Dietitian or Dual Qualified Dietitian & Exercise Physiologist Full-Time or Part-Time Fixed Term to March 2015 About the Opportunity South Western Sydney Medicare Local has a fantastic opportunity for a full-time or part-time Dietitian or Dual Qualified Dietitian & Exercise Physiologist to join our Chronic Disease Management & Prevention (CDMP) Program team, based from our Campbelltown office and working across Campbelltown, Wollondilly and the Southern Highlands region. In this role, you will work as a CDMP Program Officer to facilitate nutrition programs to referred clients, with the aim of improving their health and lifestyle. You will work closely with General Practitioners to promote a shared care approach towards chronic disease management and develop strong links to other community organisations, health professionals and stakeholders with interest in the program. You will also contribute to the evaluation and development of the CDMP Program. About You To be considered for the role, the successful applicant will have: Tertiary qualifications in Nutrition and Dietetics Accredited Practicing Dietitian (or provisional) status with Dietitian’s Association of Australia Demonstrated clinical experience, including individual dietetic & group education to chronic disease patient cohorts Current First Aid and CPR Certificate Excellent Interpersonal skills (including working as part of a team) Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to adapt to a changing environment Experience working in a multidisciplinary team Current NSW drivers license and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle It is desirable that the successful applicant will have: Tertiary qualifications in Exercise Physiology Accredited Exercise Physiologist (or provisional status) with Exercise & Sports Science Australia Demonstrated experience in conducting group exercise and individual exercise physiology consultations Good computer skills (including word processing, data entry, email) In return you will be offered an attractive remuneration (commensurate with your skills and experience), with salary packaging benefits available, a friendly and supportive team and a flexible work environment.
