**DIGESTDAILY** LET IT BE KNOWN TO YOU,O KING, THAT WE DO NOT SERVE YOUR GODS, NOR WILL WE WORSHIP THE GOLD IMAGE WHICH YOU HAVE SET UP- Daniel 3:18 =WISDOM= Remember Daniel? The young man that set his mind to understanding and also to humbled himself before God (ch 10:12) This man did not just jump up one day and started doing Gods will, no, but he had an antecedents, a history of a determined heart to follow God! The main reason we get burnt off like a candle in the wind today is that we never have an history of a consistent track record of following the Lord, and a man without an history will soon fade off! God permits trials and temptations to come our way as a way of testing us His Children to see weather we will still stand or waver. What like Daniel or Job are you facing today? God is only allowing it that you may have testimonies like David, who had an history of how God had been with him to tell when he was faced a Goliath of his time. Whatever the challenges, no matter how disheartening circumstances, we must not gratify the lust of the flesh but rather we must stand for what is right, pray and trust God to supply the grace needed to carry through.
