***DIPS WORLD HAS FALLEN APART..BUT YOU CAN HELP HER*** A volunteer writes: Five year old Dip was a family dog all those years… She lived with children, other dogs and even cats...It must be quite a shock to find herself an orphan and homeless. No wonder she handled herself poorly upon arrival at the care center…but that was yesterday. Although still shy and unfocused, little Dip is slowly but surely falling back on her feet. She accepts my leash without protest and off we go to the yard. I can see that she has been well cared for. Her coat is pure silk and well groomed. She has been a mother probably more than once but she looks quite healthy. She is curious of other dogs nearing our pen, appears to like some and a little scared of some others. She is wary of my camera, wondering what that strange object might do to her. Dip comes right away when i call her and sits by my side. She welcomes caresses and even gives me her paw at some point…Dip has still way to go to become more comfortable away from her love ones and familiar environment. Dogs like children, are resilient. The prescription for Dips happiness is a new home or family who will cherish her as she deserves.. ..for ever this time around.
