DIRO ARITONANG Poet bloody blaster Batak-Sunda-Java, is the son born Kalianda, South Lampung, Indonesia, April 3, 1957, living in Bandung City, Indonesia. He is better known as a progressive poet who wrote many poems of protest and social criticism since the start of 1980. The poet had been arrested and imprisoned the authorities, during the New Order government, both in Bandung (1983) and in South Lampung (1985) because poetry protest against the rulers, poetry resistance of workers and the fight clove farmers in Lampung. Besides being known as a poet, he was known as a painter, critic, essayist and journalist in Mind Bandung. In addition to his work in the form of books of literature, he also has spawned a famous book on political reform period. Now he manages haiku in the group HaikuKu on facebook which has consisted not only in Indonesia, India and Viernam. As a poet, he has published a collection of poems that have been published Consciousness (1980), Underground Poet (1981), grass roots (1996) and several anthologies of poetry published and colleagues; Poetry Gathering Creativity (1980), 17 Poems (1981), Humming Bandung (1982), A Thousand Nights Moon (1991), ORBA (1993), Mirror of Nature (1996), The Bend-by-Bend (1996), Night 1000 Moon II (1997), Iron Hand (1998), and political well-known book The Collapse of the Regime Rather than Suharto, Indonesian Student Struggle Records 1998 (Library Hidayah, 1999) .
