DIRTY POLITICS: I have been DISQUALIFIED due to my VOTER REGISTRATION CARD(ADDRESS CHANGE). Per a conversation with Mr. Shawn Kieffer, I was told since they have my signs turn on a card from January 31, 2014, I was not registered or lived at my current address one year before putting my name on the ballot. I explained I have lived here since January 2013. He said there is no proof. I asked if I provided proof like lease, mail, social security statement etc.. He said the only document that was acceptable was the VOTER REGISTRATION CARD WITH MY SIGNATURE. Based on the comparison from the last card two years ago they matched. I explained to him yes this is true I am legally blind and thats were the state worker told me to sign. I further explained that when we re-register for blind pension theres a VOTER REGISTRATION FORM INCLUDED IN OUR PAPERWORK and the STATE worker feels it out and tells me where to sign. I then asked him, dies it state somewhere on the VOTER REGISTRATION FORM( when changing an address) how long you lived at this address. He stated he did not know. He also stated as long as a candidate is registered and revives mail at that address they live there. I told him this is so wrong on many levels and the law needs to change. Some people never change there address and I still receive VOTER CARDS and mail from people who do not live here. I will not be held accountable for someone not do their job. I told him I put this address change in when I did my re-registration in January 2013. The resin it was done over was because they did not put the information in. I also have a VOTER REGISTRATION CARD with a typo that was another reason for the change. I WILL PURSUE THUS FURTHER. Just not at the expense if this important election. We still need all if your support this Saturday. Re-elect Rep. Ellington
