DISASTER MANAGEMENT... Disaster Management means to manage the disaster... but what if the management is disastrous... The management of ecology department, town planners and builders do work hand in hand on the so called development programs... neglecting the ecological balance of the land.. and result in man made disaster.. Crores of rupees spent on MET Deptt yield no result, fail to forecast the weather behavior... The administrative bodies fail to even provide the list of people stranded at the tragic sites.. or those who have been rescued so far... some unscrupulous elements doing a brisk business selling water at the tragic sites for Rs. 200 a bottle... and I am afraid, some barbaric elements must be robbing the dead bodies of their belongings also.. we are living in a materialistic world toppling the ethics and values... and scooping all time low to accumulate the wealth... adding disaster to our own life...
