THIS POST ISNT AIMED AT ANYONE IN PARTICULAR, JUST WORDS FROM A TEAR FILLED HEART*** Words cannot hold the meaning of what a pastor feels in his heart when church members arent serious about their relationship with God. If a public job held the same importance to some people as church did, theyd be unemployed before Friday. Heartbroken isnt a strong enough term to describe the feeling of a real pastor when the sheep are astray! What if you showed your boss the same decency and respect you show God and your pastor? What if you missed a whole week of work every time you missed a whole week of church? What if you didnt get paid for every time you didnt pay your tithes? What if you were late to work as often as you are to church? What if you disregard the bosses instruction as being his opinion as often as you do the preachers? Your job is replaceable, but if God has allowed you to be in a real church, with the real power of God, a real preacher who loves you enough to tell you the truth and try to lead you in the right paths, and real brothers and sisters in Christ who will love you and labor with you, YOU HAVE A ONCE IN A LIFETIME CHANCE! There are people in the world who would love to have a church like that, but there isnt one in their area. Cherish what you have, and treat it like it means something to you. Imagine if the pastor feels this way, how do you think God feels? After all, it wasnt my son that was put to death for your sin debt, it was HIS.
