DISSOLUTION OF LOCAL COUNCIL CARETAKER COMMITTEES!!! GOV. AJIMOBIS MANY HEADACHE!!! Dissolution of the 33 Local Government Caretaker Chairmen in Oyo State could be described as a big headache for Gov Ajimobi and APC in the State. Presently, majority of them have vow to pursue their political interest elsewhere if they are not return to their seat as Chief Executive Officer of their various councils thereby dumping APC to join Sen Lanlehin in Accord or Labour Party. However, some loyal party men are also threatening to defect to any other party if any of the removed Caretaker Chairmen are returned to their seat as they have made history as a set of longest serving unelected Council Chairmen in Oyo State. Since the election is approaching, the relationship between Gov. Ajimobi and the House of Assembly wont be business as usual again because the period of unnecessary familiarity among the major political parties is over. We are waiting and watching the political chess game as it unfold but the general expectation is the conduct of Local Government election and failure to do that will translate to political suicides for the Oyo State APC!!!
