DO CATS REALLY HAVE NINE LIVES. I Dont think so. In my childhood days i drowned three cats in a Big pot full of water and took them out. Forget nine lives they didnt get even one life . so where were the nine lives of the cat.Last month a neighbours dog pounced on a stray cat, the cat never got up again. The MMC workers took the carcass away. So where were the nine lives of the cat. Drunkard pedro was presumed dead in his sleep long ago When the neighbours started getting foul smell from his house. The neighbours broke the door to open his house and they found Pedro alive and his cat dead and rotting.So where were the cats nine lives. I brought a pet cat for our family in our flat.we would not let her go out. She never went out. One day on seeing a male cat she jumped from the first floor balcony and ran away. The next day we found her badly molested,Raped and Murdered. Where were her nine lives. Friends cats dont have nine lives but they do have nine to twenty wives. Its only a wild saying which has come down the ages. The poor cat is just like any living being. But i do remember that i have been attacked and scratched by the Angry cats in my childhood at least NINE TIMES and all nine times i have blamed my sisters for the scratches to my parents, Until one fine day all my four sisters pushed me down and really scratched me like the Cats. So friends if anyone tells you that the cat has nine lives,Give them a big cold stare. They will run away for their only life.
