DO NOT BE AN UNLEADER, UNTEACHABLE, UNACCCOUNTABLE AND UNACCEPTABLE; John 3:9-10 › There is a lot of leaderless ness in church because many people are unleader less. › When a man is wrapped up in himself, he makes a pretty small package eg. Diotrephes - He was a negative role model:- Recognize, Organize. › A leader is someone who leads. › If a leader has no followers he is simply taking a walk. › Unleaders are:- Domineering people Discounted people Discord bearers Divisive. › Such people are joy bringers when they leave. › Distrephes was to be a leader madly. But he was the “unleader”. MARKS OF AN UNLEADER: 1. Un leader is an unservant; Mark 9:35, Matthew 18:4, Matthew 20:26-28. › In Christian leadership, you give your best without having to be first. o He wanted to be first o He wanted to be served o He enjoyed being a big shot › People want to be leaders because of privileges, power, people, policies, projects. › When we push ourselves to leadership that ushers in politics. › He got a kick out of special privileges. › He liked to impress people. › Leadership is a process of endless change. › God wants to conform the leader into the image of Christ.
