DO NOT BEFRIEND THE WOLRD, FOR THAT IS ENMITY TOWARDS GOD! HUMBLE YOURSELF, FORGIVE; YOU WILL BE BLESSED IF YOU DO? Do you not know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. Or do you think that the Scripture speaks to no purpose: He jealously desires the Spirit which He has made to dwell in us? But He gives a greater grace. Therefore it says, God is opposed to the proud, but gives grace to the humble. Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. James 4:4-7 NASB Most of us are ashamed and afraid of the world around us. We fear to lose our jobs or other privileges; hence, we do not want to be associated with Gods Word in Spirit and Truth! Hmmmm! At the end of the day, who is the Provider? Your choice! Not that I do not understand; please dont get me wrong! However, Love compels me to write these words! We prefer to befriend the world so the world can accept, like or even love us; whilst we forsake the true Love of all, the Word of the Living God! Whereas we harbour pride etc. in our hearts like multiple jeopardy! God jealously desires His Spirit Given to us; Hes opposed to the proud, but gives Grace to the humble! Therefore, resist the devil and his wiles and he will flee from you. Submit to God in Jesus Name. Father Lord God, Help us to be bold and courageous in our walk with you and not fear man in Jesus Name. Amen!!! Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. Be sober-minded; be watchful. Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world. 1 Peter 5:5b-9 ESV Im stressing humility always because God opposes the proud and gives Grace to the humble! If you are humble, God Will exalt you and bless you! Put all your trust in Him; even when you are facing trials and tribulations, cast all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you like no one else can! You need to be sober minded at all times so your mind is on full alert in order to be watchful for the devils plans to devour whomsoever he can get a hold of. Resist the devil and remember that other believers are going through divers issues that are satanic in nature. May God in His infinite mercies keep you safe from the evil one in Jesus Name. Amen!!! But when that servant went out, he found one of his fellow servants who owed him a hundred silver coins. He grabbed him and began to choke him. Pay back what you owe me! he demanded. His fellow servant fell to his knees and begged him, Be patient with me, and I will pay it back. But he refused. Instead, he went off and had the man thrown into prison until he could pay the debt. Comfort is given to you so that in due season you may give comfort to the needy; likewise mercy! Gratitude to God is also about being kind and loving to others according to the love received by you from God. God never fails to reward love and loving; God is Love! Please Father Lord, Help us to love our fellow human beings whenever others are in need of love in Jesus Name. Amen!!! Deuteronomy 33:16 Abrahams Blessing is transferable unto the faithfuls in Jesus Christ! Joseph received the Blessing as above. So can you. But do you believe? Nobody can submit to nor love a God they dont know. Get to know God; and the more you get to know Him, the more you will love Him! The more you love Him, the more you will obey Him. He desires your obedience as evidence of your loving Him. If Gods love was unconditional, then He doesnt need your love; if He didnt need your love, He would not say in His Word that you should prove your love for Him by obeying His Word and when you do, He would Bless you.
