DO NOT BUY AN ENGINE FROM BLACK WATER ENGINES... We purchased a Duramax LMM from Black Water and had issues from the time of installation.... Within 2000 miles the cooling system pressurized to the point of blowing off the lower hose... Called Black Water to start the warranty process.... They instructed us on what tests to perform... after several calls and several tests it was determined that it is a possible head gasket issue. After removing the heads and seeing that the pistons are clearly hitting the heads, mismatched valves and a bad head surface. we called Black Water back to let them know what we found. They told me to put the engine back together with new head gaskets and send the customer on his way... Of course that is not what we did! I told them that they need to send a replacement engine to correct this issue... They refuse to send an engine to get my customer back on the road.... I have been getting the run around from them for several months now and getting nowhere.... I felt that I should warn anyone looking to buy a remanufactured engine to STAY AWAY FROM BLACK WATER ENGINES....
