Yow Dance was founded in the summer of 2008 and has since grown to become one of Central Florida’s most dynamic dance companies. Under the direction of Eric Yow, the company has made its mark with work based on his own life. His personal stories are told through the dancers in intricate spatial patterns, powerful floor work and delicate gestures while grounded with the subtle influences of modern dance greats – Graham, Taylor and Morris Yow Dances Mission - Our Mission To create, cultivate and promote modern and contemporary dance performances of exceptional quality and relevance. To enhance exposure of modern dance to Central Florida by creating and performing accessible programs and to explore and educate on the importance of dance and creative movement as a tool towards physical and emotional wellness. To provide compelling repertoire by renowned international choreographers in order to foster, maintain and expand audiences locally and throughout the nation.
