DO YOU MATTER? Just like this picture, we may all feel that we are just like one of the many. Yes, well adorned, colourful, unique, displayed but ignored. Are you a wife who feels unloved, left out and maybe irrelevant? You do what you do as a wife but you do not a word of appreciation or gesture of affection from your husband. Instead, you are taken for granted, maybe lied to and mistreated? Or you could be a mom, who loves her kids. And as any normal mom would, you make sure they have all they need. You talk to them, text your love to them but instead of given hugs or even listened to, they roll their eyes or cut you off, like they know it all? Are you a single woman, a bit scared about being alone or unloved or worse, do you feel invisible? All legitimate feelings, but what is real and true? Gods eyes are on you, He never forgets you,(Psalm 33:13-15) He never leaves you. His love is unending, undivided and faithful. He is the husband of the husbandless and father of the fatherless.(Isaiah 54:4-5) He has a special and deep love for widows. He cares about you and me like no earthly man can, not our husbands, or kids can ever do what He does. We must never look to men, to fulfil our deepest longings because try as they may, they are not capable of meeting our deepest need. Every single woman, listen to me, if you think you will only be happy if you have a boyfriend or if you marry, you are in for a surprise! No matter how pretty, witty, and capable you may be, no man was created to fit into the space that only God through CHRIST CAN FILL. Jeremiah 31:3 the Lord appeared to them from a distance: I have loved you with a love that lasts forever. And so with unfailing love, I have drawn you to myself.
