DOCTRINE: THERES NOTHING LIKE PART-TIME MINISTRY, IN THE BIBLE. TEXT:EPH 4:11-13. EVERY Believer is called into MINISTRY. SOME are called into the five-fold ministry, and are:Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, or Teachers. Their primary MINISTRY, is to perfect or equip the Saints for their own MINISTRIES. Everyone one of them is called to do the work of the ministry -Eph4:11-12. These MINISTRIES are to continue till we all come to the unity of faith . No retirement, no holidays. Everyone is to continue to supply their MINISTRIES until the perfect MAN emerges, or the person dies. Thus, we are to be FULL -TIME Ministers, but PART-TIME husbands, Bankers, Carpenters, etc. Were to be involved full-time in preaching, praying, walking by faith, etc. Timothy was told to preach, both in & out of season. 2Tim4:2. We are told to pray WITHOUT CEASING. -1Th5:17. Every Believer is called into full-time ministry of SERVING the Lord. -1Th1:9;Hb 9:14. Our secular engagements, should be part-time. Its not just about pulpit or Church assembly.
