DOES GOD CARE? Let me tell you how much!!! Last month I had gone as far as I could go. My whole system seemed to just shut down and I couldnt deal with any pressure. I decided that after 5 years without a vacation, I needed one really bad. A work at home opportunity came my way to make some quick bonus money so I went to work to make 1200.00 in two weeks with Le-Vel GUESS WHAT? I did it!!! I made enough for a small vacation!!! However, as always happens to me, my giving heart decided that there was a Conference our Pastors (Robert and Chris Nelson) really needed to attend in Dallas. With the registration, room and meals, it took all of my 1200.00 bonus to send them. So, on the 4th of July weekend, I decided that I would get away and spend time at my brother and SILs and let that be my vacation. Again, we had so many people out for the holiday that my hubby asked me to please not be gone from church that weekend because he needed me there. Again, I planned to just chill on that Sunday afternoon and take a day-cation and be content with that. Sitting at lunch around 1p.m., I got a call from Chris at youth camp in Leuders, Texas, and they needed me to bring a keyboard asap. Thats a 4 hour drive from Waco and he needed it there by 6 p.m. So...there went my daycation!!! On the way home I was so exhausted and just feeling like I must not deserve a break. YEP...I WAS BEING A WHINING BRAT! That night I was crying and just exhausted and I told God that while I was disappointed, I trusted that He knew my every need and that I would trust Him. About 5 minutes later, I got a phone call from a couple who had no idea what I was going through. They had a timeshare in Branson, MO. for July 20th-27th that was already paid for and wanted to know if we could use it because they couldnt go. DOES GOD CARE? WITHOUT A DOUBT!!! To Misty Parks Fehler, Nathan and your entire family...YOU HAVE BLESSED US BEYOND OUR PRAYERS!!! Holiday Hills Resort is a dream place!!! It has been luxurious and Thank You Rick Rapson and Alfie Rapson for sending us to two concerts and me on a helicopter ride (Pastor wont go :) Thank you Chris Nelson and Grady Jr. Gladden for taking care of our beautiful people at clcwaco.org. (Thank you Gina Renee Dennard for understanding) Thank you CHRISTIAN LIFE CHURCH for your faithfulness, your love, and texts while we have rested and recharged. We LOVE YOU ALL!!! Momma Nelson :)
