After careful assessment by our Veterinarian, the conclusion is that Butch took a bullet to the face. He is currently receiving treatment for shock and pain and going to Animal Emergency Room for care over night. We will need a loving foster home to care for Butch. What kind of person would shoot a dog? He deserves a safe and loving place to get better. The bullet went through his soft palate and he may have some esophageal damage as well. Please help us offset the cost of his treatment, it will be extensive. Hes also going to need a foster once hes released, if you can foster this boy please email [email protected]. He allowed the staff to handle him and never showed any aggression even though he had to have been in pain.
