DONNY and MARIE made it safely to GreenePets Foster Network, Inc. in Tennessee this afternoon after a red eye flight from Los Angeles! Thank you Carolyn Malden for capturing some awesome photos of them before they left Los Angeles and Cassandra Bikel who picked them up in Atlanta, drove them to the Tennessee state line AND caputured these awesome photos on their arrival. Donny and Marie (9 months old) were owner-surrendered to the Carson Shelter because their person didnt have time for them. The person also surrendered their parents just a few months earlier to a different shelter. When they showed up at the Carson Shelter on the evening of 12/21/14, we were there bright and early the next day so that TAPS could secure their future instead of them falling into the wrong hands - hands that would be cruel - hands that would be harsh. Before we made that journey, we checked with GreenePets Foster Network Inc. to make sure they had space for them and they did. GreenePets has access to hundreds of acres where dogs can be dogs and have volunteers who work exclusively with Belgian Malinois and understand their off the chart energy and what they need to be fulfilled.
