DONT GET CAUGHT UP IN PCMATIC SCAM A company called PCMatic has recently revved up its TV ads claiming it can do just about everything, including prevent Cryptolocker infection. Please, please dont get caught up in their hype and buy their service. Their program could almost be considered an infection itself. About all the program can do is exactly what easily available free programs like CCleaner and Malwarebytes do. It can not prevent Cryptolocker infection. Their ads try to scare people into buying their product. Once their program installs it is hard to uninstall. Currently there is no program that can 100% prevent Cryptolocker. The reason why is the hackers continually morph their infection into different formats-faster than normal antivirus software can detect them.
