DON’T MIS OUT, 11 GOT JOBS THROUGH KIGALI EMPLOYMENT SERVICE CENTRE Kigali Employment Service Centre (KESC) continues to prove its existence as it is mandated to play a linkage role between jobseekers and potential employers. After being helped by KESC, 11 successful candidates got jobs in Propertymode Company through Kigali Employment Service Centre. Kigali Employment Service Centre provides with support to help jobseekers to find and keep a job. With services of KESC jobseekers receive personalised help, access to services that are tailored to the needs and appropriate training, and skills development. Degree is not enough on labor market. This has been recently emphasized by one of the jobseekers while being trained in self-employment. “A university theoretical knowledge is not enough in the current competitive labor market, we need to have other practical training which open our minds for generating business ideas, and finally create our own jobs instead of searching jobs,” said Muzora Patrick graduated in 2011 from the National University of Rwanda. The Centre calls upon all jobseekers to take their chance as Kigali Employment Service Centre has a data bank where all job seekers can register. The Centre staff also trains the candidates on job search skills that include CV and cover letter writing, preparing well for interviews. Beside this service there are trainings on IT or self-employment. All services are free of charge.
