DOUGLAS COUNTY FAIR PHOTO CONTEST Grab a camera and head to the Douglas County Fair this week. Submit your photo for a chance to win a prize from the Douglas County News. Show us your great photo of the carnival rides, the headline entertainers, your favorite food booths, or a smile from one of the 150+ vendors around the fairgrounds. “We’re looking for something fun, something cute, something crazy,” said publisher Becky Holm. “This is a great opportunity to show off your mom’s prize winning pie entry or your daughter’s blue ribbon pig.” How to enter There are three ways to submit your photographs: 1. Pin it on the Douglas County News Pinterest page, pinterest/DouglasCoNews; 2. Send it by to Becky Holm via email, [email protected]; or 3. Stop by our Douglas County News booth in Douglas Hall during the fair. Photographs must be submitted before Sunday, August 11 at 8 p.m. Winners will be selected in a random drawing on or about August 12 from among entries received.
