(Across the street from The Southern Museum) The City of Kennesaw is excited to kick-off the Downtown Kennesaw Livable Centers Initiative Study. We invite you to join the conversation at a Design Workshop to help us develop a shared vision for the future of Downtown Kennesaw. A drop-in Design Charrette will take place all day and an Open House to summarize the findings will be held in the evening. What is a Design Charrette? A Design Charrette is an intensive planning session where citizens, business interests, designers, government officials and others collaborate on a vision for development. It provides a forum for ideas and offers the unique advantage of giving immediate feedback to the designers. More importantly, it allows everyone who participates to be a mutual author of the plan.
