DREAM BUILDERS “Therefore render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.” Matt 22:21 By: Towana Williams Have you ever helped someone to build their dreams? How about accomplish their goals? Did you put your dreams and goals on hold during the process? Did they leave you behind after the dream was realized and their goals were accomplished? Is someone else now benefiting from a life that was once promised to include you? Are they basking in their come up or riches, while mocking you? If you answered yes, then understand that you are not alone. It was their dream; not yours and God is still building in your life. Dont waste your time hating them or getting even because they lied and left you behind. Dont spend your days and nights wallowing in self-pity about their choices and who is benefiting in their life, as a result of your dream building. Yes; you earned a place in their life, you also earned a spot on the team and you earned your fair share of the profits. Some people have hidden agendas, selfish spirits and they switch out players in the last quarter of the game. Promises are broken, lies are told, disrespectfulness ensues and alliances are broken. Who you once thought was a brother, or a sister, or a husband, or a wife, or a best friend, or a business partner or your right hand, has now proven themselves to be unworthy of all your work, sacrifice and effort in their life. God sees all and no bad deed goes unpunished. You learned a lesson and yeah it hurt, but you are better off knowing who they really are, rather then who you thought that they were in your life. So raise your glass and give them a toast! Cheers! Job well done and then move on with building your own dreams and accomplishing your own goals. Theyll be back one day; praying that you would build a new dream in their life. Their harvest produced rotten fruit, although it LOOKS juicy, sweet and ripe! They will never enjoy nor get full off of your honest labor. We all reap what we sow... So render onto Caesar what is Caesars....
