DRIFTING COWBOY JOURNAL : 8 of new snow -prime rib dinner- music- skiing in the sunny weather just cold enough so snow doesnt melt...thank the Lord for Red River! I thoroughly enjoyed performing at the Motherlode in Red River, N.M. (406 Main Street) last night. They set it up like a cabaret concert hall, and the sound was great. General Admission seats at 8:30pm were very good, and premium seats for the 6pm VIP Prime Rib Dinner Meet and Greet(including free T-shirt)were excellent. I met two wonderful couples on honeymoon and posed in pictures with them- and met lots of other new friends. I do it all over again tomorrow night Dec 29th at same start times. Call 575-754-6280, or stop by Texas Reds right next door to the Motherlode to reserve tickets. Im headed out to ski at Enchanted Forest today. The snow is great here at Angel Fire, Red River and Taos Ski Areas (8 yesterday), and roads into Red River are all clear coming from Texas, Kansas and Oklahoma. Come on ! - MURPH THE DRIFTER
