DRUG DETECTION Just after 4pm on Monday the 15 July, 2013 Police executed a search warrant upon a housing unit in Seaforth Ave, Valla in relation to the cultivation of cannabis. The 41 old male occupant was spoken to and a drug dog was utilised and a number of indications were made throughout the property. A search of the rear yard located approx 229 cannabis seedlings were located growing. Several large plastic drums were also located in the garage containing approx. 3kg of cannabis, seeds and stems. A large amount of fertilizers/soil improvers, gardening tools and mesh wire were also located. A search of the kitchen revealed further amounts of cannabis, cash, mobile phones and diaries. The accused to attend the Macksville Police Station on Wednesday, 17 July, 2013 in relation to these matters.
