DTI-Caraga regl dir. Brielgo Pagaran relayed during todays media briefing held in Butuan City, that mushroom production was introduced as a viable alternative livelihood project to 24 participant-beneficiaries in the province of Dinagat Islands under the Grassroots Participatory Budgeting project through the DTI. The participants did not only obtain essential information & techniques in growing mushroom during the recently conducted 2-day training at Brgy. San Jose in Dinagat Islands, they are also set to receive starter kits which are basically fruiting bags ready for production. These will be provided by the resource person in 2 batches this August & December, he said. #piacaraga
