DVD Releases of the Week: Lucy - I sadly missed this, but it looked super badass and Scarlett Johansson is one of my favorite actresses to watch in todays cinema. (For sure Redbox, might be an immediate purchase) The Drop - This slow burn gangster film features perfect performances by Tom Hardy and late James Gandolfini and nearly cracked my Top 10 Movie of 2014. (Buy it) Annabelle - I was a huge fan of The Conjuring, but this movie is just awful and one of the worst movies of 2014. (Skip it) Rudderless - A solid musical drama with good performances and musical numbers. (Redbox it) The Boxtrolls - its nominated for Best Animated Feature at the 2015 Oscars, so thats enough to want to give it a look. (Redbox it) White Bird in a Blizzard - I love Shaileen Woodley, so because she is in this, I will be checking it out. (Redbox it)
