DWI Arrest and Move Over Law Violation On Friday, April 25th, 2014 at approximately 2125hrs a marked Sheriffs Patrol was conducting a traffic stop on Lockport-Olcott Road in the Town of Newfane. The emergency lights were activated on the patrol unit while stopped roadside. At that time the deputy observed a southbound vehicle failing to move over and he was forced to lean up against his patrol unit to avoid being struck. The deputy quickly went after the vehicle with his emergency lights and siren activated. While following the vehicle it nearly struck another vehicle at the intersection of Wilson-Burt Road. The vehicle was eventually stopped on West Creek Road. The operator, Shawn P. Robison, 52 y.o.a., of the Town of Wilson was subsequently arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. Robison refused the breath test. Robison also faces charges for Reckless Endangerment 2nd degree, Fail to Exercise Due Care to Avoid Colliding with an Emergency Vehicle, Fail to Keep Right, Reckless Driving, and other Vehicle and Traffi ift.tt/1rFfy9c
