Dad/Dan/Gramp update! My dad is still at Mercy where they have spent considerable time trying to track down exactly what germ/virus/infection has been affecting him. They have determined now that he has a strep infection in his blood. So, the good news is that they know what they are fighting and can treat him specifically for the strep infection. The challenging news is that treatment is a six-week process. Hell go home with an IV port so he can continue to go in for IV treatment throughout this time. It is critical that the infection doesnt set into the stents that were placed in his recent medical scare...they would have to remove them and place new ones which, as you can imagine, would be a very big and tricky surgery. Please join us in thundering heaven, again, with requests on Danl Ts behalf! Im super grateful that hes in such good hands. He is/we are so lucky!
