Dad went to the Doctor again last month for his follow-up. During the visit, Dad was telling the Doctor how blessed he was, telling the Doctor that every night when he got up to go pee, God would always turn the light on for him. After Dad left the office, the Doctor became concerned about what Dad had told him about God turning on the light for him during the night when he went to the bathroom and called my Mother, “Mrs. Kimsey, your husband just left my office and I’m a little concerned about something he told me. Your husband was telling me that every night when he gets up to use the bathroom, God turns on the light for him and I’m a little concerned about the possibility of him maybe developing dementia.” “That explains it.” Mom said in disgust, “Don’t you worry about him developing dementia, that old fart has just been peeing in the refrigerator again!!!”
