Daily Bulletin for Middle and High Wednesday, October 02, 2013 (Day 4) Today’s Menu: Mini-Corn Dogs, Fries, Sweet Potatoes, Salad Bar, and Fruit Congratulations to the Varsity, JV, and JV Reserve on their awesome wins over the New Lisbon Rockets! Congratulations to Mr. Bakke whose name was drawn out of the "teacher" nominations to receive the "Golden Egg" award for the month of September. Middle School students: The Eagles Nest PBIS store will be open today at lunch time in Mrs. Schmitz’s room. Students must eat lunch before shopping. Any middle or high school student who did not complete a wellness day survey needs to see Mrs Mosley to choose your sessions. Wellness day is next Wednesday. High School Students should check out the SOAR meeting tomorrow in the Health room. Take your lunch to the meeting. Sophomores interested in ordering class rings should meet with the Jostens representative tomorrow at 12:25 in the conference room. If you are also interested in SOAR, please talk to Kathryn Mangan if you can ‘t attend that meeting. There will be a meeting for seniors and their parents on Friday evening from 5:00 to 6:30 in the high school cafeteria. Freshmen need to pay Nick Gronemus $15.00 for class dues by Oct. 11th. 7th and 8th Grade Boys interested in playing basketball this season should stop in the office to sign up. High School Girls interested in gymnastics at Viroqua should stop in the office to sign up. On Friday, the Statistics class will be doing an experiment between two sodas. High School students should stop in Mrs. Huntzicker’s room between 7:30-7:55 on Friday morning to help with the experiment. Middle School students can help with this experiment during 7th and 8th hours in the middle school area. They would appreciate it if everyone would stop by and help them with their data collection. The color for Friday’s football game is camo and blaze orange. Get all decked out and show your school spirit at the game on Friday night when the Eagles take on the Bangor Cardinals. Gundersen Health System will be holding a Free Teen Car Control Clinic on Saturday, Oct. 26and Sunday, Oct. 27th at Southeast Technical College in Winona, MN. Registration deadline is October 18th. More information is in the student information area. Attention any non-fall athletes interested in playing basketball: There will be open gyms on Friday mornings from 6:00-7:00 if interest is high. Please talk with Coach Bakke and Coach Fischer to ensure the gym will be open before the end of the week on Thursday. The following students must return their summer rec uniforms ASAP: Javier Tirado, Jackie Olson, Kaylee Shibley, and Ceara Kilfoyle. Anyone who has not picked up their volleyball or cross country pictures should stop in the office. All students must stay off the stage. Glasses were found on the stage. Please claim them in the office. If a wallet was found, please bring it to the office. Happy Birthday to DeaDea Leis!
