Daily Devotion Thursday, May 15, 2014 — How Lord?... Read John 14:4-5. Like Thomas, do you lack understanding? Are you willing to be as vulnerable and honest as Thomas and bring your questions to Jesus? Read Jeremiah 29:13, Matthew 7:7, and Ephesians 1:16-18. Thomas wonders about a “road map.” But Jesus wants Thomas, and us, to see him, to see Jesus. HE is the gate and the way (John 10:7&9; 14:6). We don’t need a map; we need Jesus! Jesus will take us by the hand and lead us. Pray for the courage to ask honest questions and the grace to allow others the same privilege.
