Daily Grind – Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is! 7/15/2013 In light of the recent court proceedings, we are all left angry, shocked and saddened. However, in order to seek transformation in this world, we should look no further than the mirror because we are the voice of change! From this point forward, we owe it to ourselves, our loved ones and our community to be a catalyst to do better. I challenge you today to put your money where your mouth is and get involved. We need to be more accountable to ourselves and everyone around us. It’s not enough to just sit on the sidelines talking about how bad things are. Instead, we must take action by joining a local assembly, volunteering our time to help shape and mold the lives of our youth, or donating funds to an effective nonprofit organization. Not matter what we choose, it is vital that we wake up and do something. Allow this pain and frustration to be the facilitator for change. Keep in mind that we all have an opinion but the ones that truly matter are the ones that are followed by action. The harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few.
