Daily update Day 26 : for our overseas friends : after a relatively quiet night many people in the centre were awoken by sirens around 6 a.m including Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan, Givatayim, Peta Tikvah, HodHasharon, Ramat HaSharon, Hefer Valley, Herzlia and Raanna. Twenty rockets hit Eshkol, plus twelve in Shaar HaNegev and five in Sderot. A seventy seven year old man was airlifted taken to hospital after a mortar injured him in the Eshkol region. Rockets on Beer Sheva were intercepted by the Iron Dome. At 11am the IDF destroyed the rocket launcher used for the long range rocket attacks today . One Israeli soldier has been injured. There are rumours that the IDF are pulling out but the Prime Minister addressed the nation at 9 pm and said the operation will continue until all the terror tunnels are destroyed and for as long as necessary . He assured the Goldin family that they are doing everything to find and return their son. While Hamas is continuing with its homicidal aspirations and holds 1.8 million Gazans hostage and forces 5 million Israelis into bomb shelters, Sky news incorrectly reports that Gaza remains the target of Israels military campaign. The more honest message would be that Israel remains under attack hourly by Hamass indiscriminate rocket fire. Hamas is making death an industry for the Palestinian people . Israel has no choice and has no currency in which to deal with Hamas. In Ashdod port the authorities checked a humanitarian shipment from Turkey and found it to contain hundreds of ball bearings and a concrete mixer, both used to pack out war heads. The British news sounds more anti Israel and biased than Algazeera, while simultaneously claiming they back Israels right to defend herself and list Hamas as a terrorist organisation . Prominent voices such as Jon Snow, Ken Livingstone,Paddy Ashdown, John Prescott, Nick Clegg and now Ed Milliband are spouting nonsense and referring to the deeply disturbing graphic images flashed across the media. Well , this is a war not a Friday night punch up that they are more likely familiar with. Defiantly Jon Prescott , who we have witnessed punching someone that happened to disagree with him. They are without any understanding of the conflict and absolutely no appreciation of what is at stake if we allow a terrorist organisation to be victorious over a liberal democracy. It seems they have already forgotten that Hamas started this war after firing rockets in southern Israel since 2005 , have broken five ceasefires and had a much more deadly plan for Rosh , which had we not discovered the tunnels would have resulted in the deaths of ten of thousands of Israeli civilians . I say to these ill formed looney lefties. Back off, Butt out and please Shut up.
