THIS IS A LONG RANT! usually I avoid drama but at the moment I am shall we say quite pissed and do not care I need to let this out and here seems as good a place as any so !!!LET THE DRAMA BEGIN!!! If what Im about to say angers you because you dont believe that its true or that Im wrong to believe this way then you should probably figure out how to unfriend me and do it quickly. I am a red blooded American and I am a patriot in many ways though I disagree with many things that our government and our society does and I could write a books worth of things and reasons down but this one tops it off its number one because it involves people whom I love and respect very much. NOTHING our society in America does makes me more angry or sickens me more than the suffering we put our vets through ... If you dont like war well to bad stop being a pansy and grow a set cause it happens and in America it happens so we can be free and have the rights that we have and I use the word have quite loosely as I feel that our rights are constantly infringed upon by others and as not to seem hypocritical I apologize now if you feel I am somehow infringing upon yours by ranting on MY Facebook page ... Now I do not always support the reasons for war but I do always support those who fight the wars ... The men and women that protect us so we can sleep easy at night and not have to worry about a hostile take over of our great country however imperfect and sometimes downright ignorant it can be. The vets deserve our respect at the very least. So lets face it we all know a vet or two ... I know several dozens and of them and some of them are family. A lot of them get treated like trash IF and when they make it home as so many of them dont and Im not just talking about the ones that give the ultimate sacrifice. Some of them come back but only part of them truly makes it home. They struggle with all manners of problems that we may never fully understand and they end up homeless, alone, or worse. Depression comes almost hand in hand with PTSD and it all has dire consequences, and yet we go gallivanting off helping all these third world countries build homes and feed the hungry and heal the sick. Now dont get me wrong I support that and feel that its necessary, but we need to take care of our own first especially our vets. Now if its wrong of me to feel this way well quite frankly I dont give a damn and anyone who doesnt like it can kiss my ass. I respect every honest vet out there and would take a bullet for any of them after all they took that risk for me. If some how you dont understand why or how I could feel this way watch the video never mind the song however it does speak many truths but watch the video and you may just understand.
