Dakota is about 2 years old and scheduled to die at noon today. She has at lesat $150 in donation to the New HOpe Resscue that pulls her. A volunteer writes: Little Dakota may look like a sleek silver butterfly as she flits this way and that but our pretty girl is really a tomboy at heart; bouncy, playful and keen to explore the big wide world with all the gusto of a puppy. She loves to socialize with everyone she meets, whether they walk on two legs or four, and is adorably excited to see other dogs, frolicking and barking up a happy welcome for her new friends. To my surprise, toys just arent her bag and we spend our off-leash time playing chase and snuggling on a bench instead. Dakota knows her commands for come and sit, she likes to get up on my lap or offer a jumpy hug on request and when it comes to treats she very delicately takes them from my hand.
