Dallas Cowboys always prepared as if Ndamukong Suh were going to play IRVING — The Cowboys planned to face Ndamukong Suh even before appeals officer Ted Cottrell overturned the Detroit defensive tackle’s one-game suspension by the NFL on Tuesday. Suh had been disciplined after he stepped on Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers’ leg during a 30-20 loss Sunday. “You could kind of see it coming, just with some of the stuff that had been coming out,” Dallas fullback Tyler Clutts said about the outcome of Suh’s appeal. “I know we were preparing the little bit that we were today as if he was playing. There was really no talk of him being out.” Suh, a four-time Pro Bowler, is a key cog in the Lions’ defense, which is ranked first against the run. “He’s one of the better ones,” left guard Ron Leary said. “We have a lot of respect for him.” But Suh’s uncertain status never affected how the Cowboys approached their preparations. “We didn’t worry too much about that,” Leary said. “We heard about it. We just game planned. He’s in now.”
