Dallas, GA - UP FOR ADOPTION! PLEASE SHARE! Celina is a beautiful 3 year old pitbull that is snow white with a few large black patches. Her big beautiful smile will melt your heart! She weighs in at 52 pounds and is one sweet big baby that will be sure to entertain and cuddle with you for hours. She will throw her Wubba toy up in the air to play, loves laying in the sun going for car rides and giving lots of kisses. Unfortunately, Celinas past was not a fairytale story. We were told that she belonged to a family whose home burnt down and she was given to another family. Celina never received any vet care or the proper nutrition. Celina ended up pregnant and the family was unaware that she was expecting, until she gave birth to 15 puppies in July 2013. The family contacted Friends To The Forlorn for help and we took Celina and her 12 surviving pups into our rescue and placed her in a foster home. Since this was a large litter we wanted to assist the mom with feeding and provide a safe environment for them all. Celina was a wonderful mom to all of her pups who stayed with her until they were adopted. One more uphill battle Celina had was testing positive for heartworms. However, she did fantastic with treatment and is now heartworm negative. All 12 of her pups were fully vetted and have been adopted into wonderful families but Celina is still patiently waiting for a forever family to scoop her up and adopt her. Celina is an easy going, low maintenance dog. Celina is crate trained, housebroken and uses a doggie door. She currently has a fenced in backyard and we would prefer this, but this is not required as long as she is safely and securely walked. She is in a home with multiple dogs but would do best in a home with no other dogs or one male dog her size so she can play with him. She has been around children and plays wonderfully with them. She loves to be with people, wherever you are she is there with you. She makes the perfect sleeping partner and enjoys sharing a king size bed with her foster parents. She is a great car rider and will proudly sit in the front see to watch everything going on. She enjoys walks at the park and visiting the pet stores and walks well on a leash. She is a very special girl to our rescue and has been waiting for a forever home for over a year. Could your family possibly be her new forever home? Celina is spayed, current on vaccines, dewormed, fecal tested negative, heartworm negative and microchipped with a HomeAgain chip. She eats Nutrisource Heartland Select Bison dry grain free food, 1 cup twice per day and enjoys all the toys and bones she can have to play with. Her adoption fee is $195.00.
